Castle Douglas

We left Dunoon this morning and went on a mini cruise on the Dunoon to Gourock car ferry - it was ferry civilised and took about 30 minutes to cross the Firth of Clyde.



After a bit of a search we found the Old Station House B&B. It's a lovely quiet place built alongside the railway line that used to run by here. They still have one of the old railway carriages that they rent out for self caterers.


The place was spotless and we had a wonderful breakfast to send us on our way to the Lake District.
